The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation remains the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world’s business schools.

Griffith University has been ranked 41st in the world’s top 50 universities established within the past 50 years.

The QS Top 50 Under 50 ranking is based on the highest performing young institutions in the 2013/14 QS World University Rankings.

Vice Chancellor and President of Griffith University, Professor Ian O’Connor, welcomed the result which is a 12 place rise on last year.

New research from the University of Adelaide shows more than 70% of South Australian teenagers are experiencing insufficient sleep on every school night, with many reporting the overuse of electronic media such as the internet, video games and mobile phones, which could be contributing to the problem.

Researchers from the University’s School of Psychology surveyed the electronic media and sleep habits of more than 1200 students aged 12-18 from seven high schools. …

Thousands of new University of Western Sydney students are collecting their free iPads as part of the University’s program to bring knowledge to life for students wherever and whenever they need it.
