A team of Canadian business students won a prestigious $15,000 cash prize after presenting a commercial plan to use vertical gardens for company logos at the 2011 Griffith Innovation Challenge.

KOM is extremely proud to announce Verve Inc. is the brainchild of KOM students Matt Elieff, Jeff Beitz, Julian Irani and Thomas Proudlock.

The challenge put the creative minds of students to the test with the opportunity to develop and present a business plan based on their own innovative product or service idea.

Here is what Matt Elieff said to KOM:   “I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your team for encouraging myself and my business colleagues to study abroad in Australia. The year is winding down and has undoubtedly been the experience of a lifetime. During our time in Australia a group of us competed in an Innovation Challenge put on by Griffith University and were successful in winning the overall prize of $15,000.

The four of us who met while in Australia had all utilized KOM Consulting services to make this trip possible.”

Congrats to Matt, Thomas, Jeff and Julian!
