A University of Newcastle (UON) academic has been recognised for his quality teaching practice and outstanding contributions to student learning, specifically for his leadership of the successful clinical program at the Newcastle Law School.

Mr Shaun McCarthy, Director of UON’s Legal Centre, has today been presented with a 2017 Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, awarded by the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT).
