Three Bond Law academics have been recognised for their outstanding approach to teaching:

  • Assistant Professor Dr Iain Field has been awarded the 2016 Stanley Shaw Bond Prize for Teaching Excellence;
  • Assistant Professor Tammy Johnson has received the 2016 Faculty Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning through Sustained Innovation; and
  • Senior Teaching Fellow Jackson Walkden-Brown has received the 2016 Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Bond’s School of Physiotherapy Extends Application Deadline

 

KOM Consultants is pleased to confirm that applications have been extended for the Doctor of Physiotherapy 2015 program within Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine.

We are writing to you today regarding a very important update relating to Canadian Law courses taught at Bond University’s Law School in Australia.

The Canadian National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) recently announced some changes to its policies that will affect graduates of Bond’s Canadian law program in the future.

However, it is important to understand that these changes made by the NCA will not take place until the May 2015 intake and will NOT impact students commencing their studies in September 2014 or January 2015. …

The 25th anniversary of Bond University marked a historic event for the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, with the very first cohort of postgraduate nutrition students commencing their studies in nutrition and dietetic practice, and public health nutrition.

Head of Program, Professor Liz Isenring said both masters programs are Australian firsts, with the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice being Australia’s most comprehensive postgraduate program in nutrition and dietetics (AQF extended level 9).

“We are also proud that our Master of Public Health Nutrition is the first of its kind in Australia that has been specifically designed to prepare graduates who will meet certification requirements of the World Public Health Nutrition Association,” Professor Isenring said. …
