Robert Gordon University (RGU), a pioneer of work-based learning degrees, has been awarded £4.2 million by Skills Development Scotland to significantly expand the range of courses on offer and the number of places available.

In March 2017 RGU became the first university in Scotland to confirm its Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) offering with 30 fully-funded places available on two courses, BSc (Hons) IT Management for Business and BSc (Hons) Software Development for Business.

Early childhood educators from across Australia have been learning new ways to introduce pre-schoolers to STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) concepts with the University of Canberra’s STEM Education Research Centre (SERC).

Educators from early learning centres have engaged with digital technology in ways that integrate educational apps into play-based contexts to further young children’s grasp of foundational concepts in STEM.

University of Sydney’s Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies is pleased to announce the Dr Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships for Semester 2, 2013, and Semester 1, 2014.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was the 11th President of India. A distinguished scientist and aeronautical engineer by training, Dr Kalam was presented an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering from the University of Sydney in 2011 in recognition of his contribution to the profession.
