Western Sydney University (WSU) is a modern, progressive university committed to offering relevant courses for today’s rapidly changing world. With a student population of over 48,000, WSU is one of the largest universities in Australia. The University is a multi-site university with six campuses spread across Greater Western Sydney. The campuses are located at Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Penrith, and Parramatta. Modern, green and friendly, the campuses provide a welcoming study environment and are served by both public transport and major roads.
At WSU, we offer support services to all students as well as extra services to international students to assist them achieve their personal, academic and ultimate career goals. Once students arrive in Australia, an airport reception and orientation programs are offered to help you settle in to WSU. Our campuses, spread across Greater Western Sydney, provide purpose built facilities designed to give students room to think and learn. WSU students have access to world class facilities such as the new $47.5 million School of Medicine, the Centre for Cultural Research, MARCS Auditory Laboratories, moot courts, nursing laboratories, the Confocal Bio-Imaging Facility, Biomedical Magnetic Resonance Facility, language laboratories, conference interpreting facilities, and Robotic Assembly Laboratory.
WSU provides a variety of affordable, quality on-campus accommodation to suit the needs and lifestyles of our students. The residential facilities represent genuine ‘living and learning communities’ with unique support networks and easy access to academic assistance.
